So at home, when the ward has a Christmas Party, it usually involves, getting together for 2 or 3 hours, eating dinner, having some kind of program and going home. Not here, here a Christmas Party starts about 8:00 a.m., and involves getting up at 5:00 a.m. to cook the food, taking it to one of the Man Made beaches, swimming, volleyball, eating, fishing, visiting, etc. and it last all day. from 8:00 to 5 or 6 in the evening.
The first Branch Christmas Party was yesterday (Saturday Dec. 8). It was the Uh Branch, and we only got to go for a few hours because we had other commitments. But for the few hours we were there, we had a great time.
And Elder Pierson, if you are reading this, we have a surprise for you, Guess who is getting baptized?   I won't tell you until it happens, maybe next weekend or on Christmas, but watch the blog for pictures.
