1st ( and hopefully annual) YSA Dance Festival

We decided to have a Dance Festival with our YSA, it is the first time that has ever been done out here. So 2 months ago, we told all the branches that we were going to do this in April. There were a couple of rules.
1.  Only YSA could dance
2. If you did not have enough active YSA, you had to go out and find the less active YSA or/and invite your non-member friends to be on your dance team.
3.  Each Branch had to do 2 dances:
     One Traditional Island Dance
and the other one could be anything you wanted.
4. Everyone had to have fun

Well for the last 2 months they have all been practicing, and today was our Dance Festival.
It was amazing, we loved it and guess what. This evening, we have a baptism, a young man, that danced with the Sapwalap group. Simon
There are all kinds of ways to introduce people to the Gospel and the Church, and it is amazing what happens when you listen to the promptings of the Lord, how things just seem to fall together.
Layven & Merleen got in the spirit of it and ordered shirts

We started off with a "traditional "dance from the island of America

More Young Adults getting ready for missions and Misc. Pictures

We are having more and more of our Young Adults that are getting ready for missions, in all of Pohnpei's history with the Church there have never been this many Missionaries from the Island. It is amazing to see so many putting aside there fears and putting their trust and faith in the Lord and leaving there beautiful Island home, which most have never left before, and going wherever the Lord wants them. And the faith of them and their families as they sacrifice so much, just to send their son or daughters on missions.
I know they will be so blessed for the great sacrifice they are making.

Peter's baptism

Several months ago, our mission Pres. felt impressed to open up a new area on our Island. The area is called Roih, it is in Kitti, but at the farthest end. Well Elder Lyman & Elder Peterson have been working there for several months, with not much success, but in the last month, they found a man named Peter, we have had the blessing of going out to FHE with them for several weeks. and  every week, more and more people have come.
Well Peter was baptized last Wednesday, and his whole family came and now even more of his family members want to be baptized. It was a sweet experience and was only made possible because of 2 amazing missionaries who were obedient with exactness, so they were blessed with miracles.
We have been blessed to be a part of this, and both Elder LeFevre and I felt that this new area will be a large branch in the not to distant future. The spirit is being poured out upon our Island and especially to the Elders and Sisters that are working so hard to labor for the Lord.
