We had our own Turkey Bowl, after pouring rain all night, it was a blast. I am sure glad no one was sitting in my car or using our shower after this mess. But it was fun, now on Thanksgiving we will eat turkey. Thanks Guam for getting us a Turkey.

Rohi/Wone & UH Baptisms
Off to baptisms yesterday, first ones were in Wone, Jennifer & Ratson were baptized. Jennifer asked Elder LeFevre to baptize her and Ratson had Elder Hanson baptize him. The spirit was so strong. As Jennifer came up out of the water, she started to cry, she was so overwhelmed with the spirit. Later as we closed the service, Ratson broke down also. They both have been prepared a long time, they just needed someone to teach them.
Then around the Island to UH, for another baptism. Elder Kim's first. It was a sweet, beautiful day.
This is the Lords work, and when you are on His errand, He shows you where to go and who is ready. What a great day. Miracles happen, we just have to follow where the Lord tells us to go and do the work and then be still and watch the Miracle.

Joseph Route and family, he accepted Baptism
We have been working with Joseph Route and his family for the whole 2 years we have been here. We love them, we have gone out regularly for FHE and teaching appts. with them. Joseph is the only member of his family NOT baptized, everyone else is. He is what we would call the eternal investigator. Well, we went to say goodbye to him and his family as we prepare to leave. The Elders told us to soften him up, because
they were going to Invite him to be baptized, again.
We had a wonderful visit, we love this family and never gave up hope that one day Joseph would be converted. Well the Elders came after we left and taught him, and then asked him if he would be baptized on Dec. 21, and he said he would be baptized, but he wanted to think about the date.
Hopefully, he will follow through. The elder promised to send us pictures.

A Miracle for the Kitti Elders
We went to the Kitti District Mtg this week, what great missionaries we have had the opportunity of working with. We love them all.
We had a little miracle at the District Mtg.
Elder Johnson & Elder Rice have been working with a less active lady named Sina for the last month, trying to help her come back and teaching her non-member husband the lessons. they were at a stand still, and did not know what to do to help her anymore. So they fasted and prayed for help.
Elder Dansie served a mission on Pohnpei about 15 - 20 years ago and taught a lady named Sina. Elder Dansie knows us through some wonderful friends of our, Boyd & Diane Hamilton, they served with us in the Singles ward before we went on our mission. Well Elder Dansie has had Sina on his mind for a couple of weeks, and knew that he needed to write her a letter, so he contacted us to see if we knew her or could find her to deliver the letter. Elder Dansie wrote the letter and e-mailed it to us, so we printed it off and took it to District Mtg. There we gave it to Elder Johnson & Elder Rice, would were shocked. I can't remember which one said "It is a miracle, the Lord really answers prayers" They took the letter to her right after District Mtg. We will check with them on Monday and see if it helped her. We will update, as soon as we know.
The Lord does answer prayers, you may be the answer to someone's pray, so if you have a prompting to do something, JUST DO IT. you will see miracles.

Ohwa, our last week
We have been teaching keyboarding lessons at Ohwa Christian High School. It all started last spring, when we were able to get some keyboards donated to the school and along with the keyboards, we volunteered our time 1 day a week, to come and teach keyboarding, and general music. Ohwa not only accepted the keyboards, but also accepted our coming to the campus 1 day a week and teaching, this was quite a feat, as this is the same School that once fired a man, because he was baptized into the Church.
So we started teaching there last spring, and have kept it up, hoping to have a student ready to take over when we left, just in case there were no Sr. Missionary to come in and take over.
It has been a great experience for us and for the Church
, now Ohwa has many "Mormon" students, and has really good feelings toward to church, and they are even hoping for another Sr. Missionary to come again one day, but until then, one of our students, Judy, will take over the class. We have been able to do this in the 3 branches we continued to teach piano in also. I wanted to make sure there was at least one student in each class that could take over when we left, so the Island could continue to have music lessons progress, and not have to depend on missionaries to do it. I have been mentoring in the other branches and at Ohwa, and now all the branches I have been working with and Ohwa, have students that not only can teach, but are teaching. It is good to know that the piano will continue after I am gone.
