We have a new Sister Missionary, Sis. Fatognia, she is amazing, she has been here for about 2 weeks. We have a tradition, that when we get new missionaries we play football or some other sport on P-day to welcome them. So the game was Rugby, last Monday (November 26) Sis. Fatognia got right in the game and was doing great until, she twisted (or so we thought) her ankle and was out for the rest of the game. So that was a week and a half ago, and her foot is still swollen and really painful, so we made her go into the Hospital today to have an x-ray, and low and behold, her foot was not a twisted ankle at all, it is broken. So Dr. Tan set it and put her in a cast and on crutches for the next 6 to 8 weeks.

Sis. Varea & Sis. Fatognia, what a great set of missionaries |
I do not want crutches, I can walk |
Well o.k., maybe I need crutches. |
It will take more then a broken ankle to slow these 2 down. |
Now that may slow down many missionaries but not Sis. Fatognia and Sis. Varea, the reason they did not go in sooner was because they did not want to have to stop working. Well, she will have to slow down a little, but I don't think it will really slow her down much. They are hard workers and amazing missionaries. We are so grateful to have them here on Pohnpei.
